Overview
Lead Space allows you to speed up your decision-making process by following a standard workflow through which the leads can be tracked and evaluated by S&E scouts. This section explains the different stages of a lead workflow.
The standard workflow is composed of five statuses that indicate the current stage of a lead:
- Identification
- Pre-CDA Review
- On-hold
- Accepted
- Declined
Identification
The default status of any newly created leads is Identification. At this stage, you can click the blue status button to either move to Pre-CDA Review, or decline.
Pre-CDA Review
Pre-CDA Review is when you begin your research and determine how to proceed to evaluate the lead. You can click the current yellow status button to either accept, decline or put a lead on hold.
When you choose to put a lead on hold, you can indicate a reason and set up a reminder date so you know when to come back.
On-Hold
You can use the On-Hold status when a lead is too early and lack information to be properly considered. You can click the current grey status button to either move the lead to Pre-CDA Review or decline.
Accepted
Once you update a lead from Pre-CDA Review to Accepted, the status will display in green.
When a lead is accepted, the brief owners are able to easily create a related opportunity in the Inova Partnering Platform. A pop-up will appear as soon as the lead is moved to Accepted. The pop-up prompts you to create an opportunity in the Inova Partnering Platform.
If an opportunity is not created at this time, a Create opportunity button will remain next to the Accepted status, allowing you to create an opportunity at another time.
If an opportunity has been created from the lead, a View opportunity button will remain next to the Accepted status, allowing users with access to directly open the associated opportunity in the Inova Partnering Platform.
You can reverse the status of the lead to Pre-CDA Review, if no related opportunity has been created yet in the Inova Partnering Platform. Please note that, once an opportunity has been created in the Inova Partnering Platform, the status of the associated lead in Lead Space can no longer be updated (i.e. reversed to a previous status).
Declined
You can choose to decline a lead when you determined that it's no longer of interest to your company. You must indicate a reason in order to proceed with this action.
You can reverse the Declined status of a lead to Pre-CDA Review.
