This section explains the different stages of a lead.
Overall
Lead Space allows users to speed up the decision-making process by following a standard workflow through which the leads can be tracked and evaluated by S&E scouts.
Workflow statuses overview
Workflow statuses indicate the current stage of a lead.
Identification
All new leads are automatically put in Identification.
At this stage, users can click on the status button (in blue) to either move to Pre-CDA Review, or decline.
Pre-CDA Review
During this stage, users begin their research and determine how to proceed.
Users can click on the current status button (in yellow) to either accept, decline, or put a lead on hold.
When putting a lead on hold, users can set up a reminder date to know when to come back to it.
On-Hold
Clicking on the On-hold status shows a list of all leads associated with the user in this category.
Users can click on the current status button (in gray) to either move to Pre-CDA Review or decline.
Accepted
Once users update a lead from Pre-CDA Review to Accepted, the status will be shown in green.
When a lead is accepted, it will automatically be saved in Inova Partnering Platform, allowing brief members to create an opportunity easily and efficiently*.
*Note: If changing the status of a lead from "Accepted" back to "Pre-CDA Review" is plausible, creating an opportunity is not recommended at this time; once an opportunity has been created, the status of an associated lead can no longer be updated.
To create an opportunity: A pop-up will appear as soon as the lead is moved to Accepted. The pop-up prompts the user to create an opportunity in Inova Partnering Platform.
If an opportunity is not created at this time, a Create opportunity button will remain next to the Accepted status, allowing the user to create an opportunity at another time.
If an opportunity has been created from the lead, a View opportunity button will remain next to the Accepted status, allowing users with access to directly open the associated opportunity in Inova Partnering Platform.
Even having been accepted, users can click on the current status button to move a lead back to Pre-CDA Review as long as an opportunity has not yet been created.
Declined
Leads are declined when it has been determined that it is no longer of interest to the company.
Even having been declined, users can click on the current status button (in red) to move the lead back to Pre-CDA Review.
